I want to start by giving GREAT thanks to GOD for providing me the means to have this web page.

I am married and have no children. My wife's name is Sharon. We have two dogs and two cats. The cats belong to my wife, I am not a cat person. The dogs are both of ours. One dog is a little, tiny, but very noisy chihuahua/dashund mix named BLONDIE. The picture below is our youngest cat and our "Cha-Wieny".

The other dog is a Brittany Spaniel, named BJ. BJ is now in retirement after many years as my service dog. More about BJ in a later section.

I have a disability called "ARTHROGRYPOSIS MULTIPLEX CONGENITA" (AMC). If you are curious and want to learn more about AMC I would suggest you do a search on "ARTHROGRYPOSIS". GOOGLE does a good job of providing a list of sites to help explain AMC.

BJ is a service dog. BJ is 12 years old. As a service dog BJ went almost everywhere I went including Church. The vets tell me he is the calmest Brittany they have ever seen. BJ's main job was to pick up items I droped. He also carried items from me to my wife and from my wife to me. Sharon and I have grown very attached to BJ. He has his own bed but prefers to be next to Sharon at night. Age has not been kind to BJ, his hearing has gotten very bad and he seems to find it harder to stand for anylength of time. In the picture above he is sitting on my wheelchair seat. He was a lot younger in that picture.

The cats are named Garfield and Rosie O'kitty. Garfield was named based on her coloring, and of course Rosie is named after Rosie of TV fame. Rosie will sit in front of TV and watch it for hours. She really likes the Hardees commercial with the feather (or something) that floats to the bottom of the screen. She tries to catch it every time. Often she is more entertaining than the show that is on.

I am a former wheelchair bowler, placing second in the American Wheelchair Bowlers Assoc. Mid-West tournament, held in 1992 in Peoria, Illinois (B DIV). I no longer participate in wheelchair bowling mainly due to the local house not being very accessible, plus as I get older my joints are not as limber as they used to be. To find out more about wheelchair bowling please visit the American Wheelchair Bowling Association homepage at - http://www.amwheelchairbowl.qpg.com/

I collect EAGLES. I have them all over the place. I have vinyl eagles, wax eagles, ceramic eagles, and all types of posters and wall hangings. I do not collect the Harley Davidson Eagles. I encourage you to visit The Eagle's Nest I also ask that you visit Save The American Eagle.

My nick name Shy Eagle comes from the old days when CB radios were king. I used the "handle" Crippled Eagle. I had a 1970 Dodge Maxi-van. It was equipped with a lift and other equipment. I would offer to take my friends places and help them out. As was the fashion I had my handle "Crippled Eagle" placed on the side of the van with a nice large Eagle picture under the letters. My friends got a little upset with me and said the cripples bothered them. So I thought about it and changed my handle to Shy Eagle. My friends are just as apt to call me Shy or Shy Eagle as they are to call me George. I've been told on several occasions that the word "Shy" is false advertising in my case, hahaha.

I am an avid Spite and Malice player. I play on the web with opponents from around the world. Spite is a very old card game and has many names. It is known today as Skip-bo made by the Uno folks. The software I use is very good. I like to play for the fun of playing, win or lose. There is also a competitive side. Through the use of "Cases Ladders" a ranking system is maintained. I am currently the "Head Admin" for the Spiteful Players Lader. Please Visit us here SPITEFUL. Look for ShyEagle. My ICQ number is 7550385.
